Between reservations

Walk the courthouse blocks between art visits

Walk around the Presidio County Courthouse, look closely at old storefronts and new interventions, browse the galleries and bookshops that are open, and stop for lunch downtown. The broad streets, low buildings, railroad corridor, and long views beyond town make Marfa's small scale visible between the larger museum visits.
